Deathhawk’s Betrayal

In a land where the greatest magicians are murdered by outlaw practitioners of blood magic, one magician kills himself to keep a secret from an assassin. Astarl seeks a magical cure to heal her dying father and leader of the secretive Order of Nizari assassins.

The magician’s records send Astarl searching for a mysterious item in the possession of the mad duke of Abasynia, but her quest is threatened when she falls in love with the castle healer. Though she tries to both save her father and keep her lover, she is betraying them both with her secrets. She must make an impossible choice between love and loyalty.
